Editing a Screen Shot

Step 1  Preparation

             1, Open the Program Paint you
                  will find this in
                  Start
             [A]
                  Programs         [B]
                  Accessories     [C]
                  Paint.                 [D]

                   ( see figure 1 )

     

       

2, Create some Arrows
     ( see figure 2 )

     Figure 3save as

 

 


     

 

     3,  To Save the
      Arrows BMP
Go to File

      Click Save As
     

        ( see figure 3 )

4, Enter a suitable name for your
     image and save into a folder of
     your choice.

5, Minimise by clicking on the
     minimise miminise button.jpg (1019 bytes) button in

     the top right hand corner

 

Step 2      Editing

Control Panel.

1,   Open the Screen Shot in Paint

2, Restore the ARROWS. BMP that you mimimised to the bottom task bar earlier.

3Left Click the select button

4,  Place your cursor over the image that you want to use.

5,  Right Click and drag an outline around the control panel this is shown by a dashed lined box,

note: if you make a mistake or the box is the outside the box and try again.

6,  Release the button and a dropdown menu box will appear,

7,  Click Copy

( see Figure 6 )

8,  Restore the Contol Panel BMP that you mimimised to the bottom task bar earlier.
( see Figure 5)

9,  To paste the copied arrow into the Control panel BMP

 

10,  Click Edit
11,  Click Paste on the drop down menu
( see Figure 7)

The arrow will appear in the top left corner of the picture, you can place the arrow where ever you want.

For this demostration I have placed the arrow so that it is pointing to the Display Icon

( see figure 8 )
