Taking and creating a screen shot.

1, Left click start
2, Highlight settings
3, Left click control panel

     4, Resize the control dialogue box like the one below
         by placing cursor in bottom corner and dragging to a
         suitable size making sure that the icon you want to
         edit is visible. as in figure 2

Print Screen by clicking the print screen button on your key board in (figure 3) By printing screen the picture will be copied to the clipboard.

          8, Left Click the select button

          9, Place your cursor over the image
               that you want to use.

        10, Right Click and drag an outline
               around the control panel this is
               shown by a dashed lined box,

                note: if you make a
                mistake or the box is the wrong
                size or position then click
                outside the box and try again.

         11, Release the button and a drop
                down menu box will appear,
                 (figure 6 ) C
                Click Copy

        12, Click on the File menu and
                 choose "New"
                 A Dialogue box will appear
                 asking you if you would like to
                 save the changes,
                 Click on No
                 (See Figure 7)

                  Click Paste

          14,   Go to File
                   Click Save As
                   (see figure 8)

          15, Enter a suitable name for your
                   image and save into a folder of
                   your choice. (see figure 9)
